Certain aspects of this development have been supported by the Free State of Thuringia and co-financed with funds of the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund under grant 2024FEE 0001 (Development of a scalable manufacturing process for the production of Lyo-Beads) and grant 2025FEE0009 (Multiplex analysis with a sustainable platform for laboratories and point-of-need testing).
The following development projects are supported by the Free State of Thuringia and the European Social Fund Plus:
Grant 2025 INP 0005: Development of quality assurance procedures for nanoreactor beads with the objective of ensuring all critical product properties.
Grant 2025 INP 0093: Development of a novel controlled process for the parallel operation of several micro-fluidic synthesis modules for the production of nanoreactor beads from a single batch (one-pot process).
Grant 2025 INP 0120: Establishment of an immunoassay format utilising nanoreactor beads in order to expand the range of analytes that can be detected with nanoreactors to include proteins.
Further work is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy on the basis of a decision by the German Bundestag:
Grant KK6058101LS5: Nanoreactor Bead-based RNA virus identification and sequencing.
